OUR VISION
To provide a conducive environment for sincere spiritual aspirants to thrive and grow, through the study and practice of universal message of Vedanta, irrespective of religion, creed, or ethnicity.
OUR COMMUNITY
While Rochester is blessed with beautiful temples, and some study groups interspersed across the city,
a greater urge was felt to have a formal organization to pursue study of Vedanta, especially in the company of Holy Personages, on a regular basis.
On the Aug 4th, 2018, under the auspices of
Swami Yogatamananda and Swami Kripamayananda, an idea of having Vedanta Society in Rochester was initiated. Both the Swamis have been giving Spiritual Retreat since 2001. More than 40 devotees have been attending the this yearly retreat and have been immensely benefited spiritually.

WHAT WE DO
As a group, the intent is to engage in spiritual activities together, based on the lives and teachings of Sri Ramakrishna,
Sri Sarada Devi & Swami Vivekananda.
The activities that are planned will include,
but not limited to:
- study circle of Vedanta texts
- conduct spiritual retreats on a regular basis, led by qualified teachers.
